How RSVPify Works for Baby Showers

1. Choose a Template to Start Your Event

When setting up your baby shower on RSVPify, the first step is selecting a template that matches your vision for the event. RSVPify offers a variety of templates designed for different themes and styles. These templates are the foundation of your event setup, but remember, each one is fully customizable to suit your specific needs which will be covered in this article.

Each template offers a unique look and feel, but you can adapt it further to match your desired aesthetic and requirements.

Form Set Up

1. Customize Your RSVP Form

  • Access Form Builder:

Go to the “Form Builder” under the Customize tab. This is where you'll create the RSVP form for your baby shower. To customize RSVP block settings click on "gear icon". In this section, you can update wording on the primary/RSVP block and other general settings (enable calendar invites, set limits per group, etc.)

  • Add additional blocks from the "available blocks" menu:

If you’re offering food, add fields for meal preferences or dietary restrictions. This will help you accommodate your guests’ needs. Custom questions feature will help you create questions about participation in games, whether guests will bring a gift, or any other relevant details for the shower. This guide provides an overview of available blocks in the form.

  • Customize RSVP form design:

In the "Update Form Theme" section select colors of your form such as background, accent and text colors.

Event Website (Event Details) Setup

Navigate to Event Website Builder in your left-hand side navigation menu to customize event details shared on your event page. In that section, you can update the selected template with specific details about your event, such as the date, time, location, and any special instructions for guests.

  • Adding Details to Event Website

You can add as many blocks as you want and give a personal touch to your website. The Event Website is fully customizable, from the Cover Image to the Gift Registry Block to ensure that guests have all event details on one place. Setting up your Invite List

The invite list is optional but a very popular feature among Baby Shower hosts as it allows you to pre-determine who can RSVP, and group invited guests into households (so a single person can RSVP on behalf of everyone in the family at once). To import your list, simply head to Invite list -> Import. Once you click on the “Import List” button, you will be prompted to download our Spreadsheet Template!

For seamless RSVP flow, first and last names in the spreadsheet are required while others are optional. Also, another benefit of the invite list is sending email invitations and reminders to RSVP if you include email addresses in the import. For more details on how tags, group IDs and additional guest columns are used jump to this quick overview!

Do note that the invite list is completely optional! While you are welcome to use Email Builder feature to send over your invites, you can also just copy the event link and share it via any other channel (SMS, Social Media, etc.)

Guests can enter the RSVP form via email or link regardless of your event settings (private or public event). However, if you'd like your event to be private invite list with the names of all invited guests is required.

Previewing and Testing your Event Page

When you are ready to launch your event page, preview experience by clicking on the eye icon next to the dropdown menu on the top right-hand side of your screen:

Publish your Event and share it with your invitees

Locate 'RSVP Open' in the actions menu of your event's header navigation. This action will immediately publish your event and RSVP form.
