Setting up languages and translations for your event

RSVPify is available in 28 languages, so you can set your RSVP form's primary language, offer guests a choice of languages, or translate the defaults into any language yourself.

Besides English, RSVPify's default text is translated into 27 other languages. Check the full list to see if yours is included:

If your language isn't on the list yet, you can still translate RSVPify's default text into it yourself. Here's how to set all of this up.

Open Languages & Translations

  1. In your event's left navigation menu, select Event Settings.

  2. Select Languages & Translations.

Change your form's primary language

Under Primary Language, choose the language you want your RSVP form to display by default. A confirmation appears in the bottom-left corner of your screen once the primary language has been updated.

Offer your form in multiple languages

If you want guests to read your RSVP form in more than one language, use Add Language to include the additional languages you need. Guests then choose which language they'd like to view the form in.

This is what guests see when they visit your event website:

Translate into a language we don't support yet

You can translate the default text values into any language, even one that isn't on our list. Click the Customize button next to the primary language, manually translate the text, and save your changes. You can come back anytime to restore everything to the defaults.

Keep in mind that only RSVPify's default text is translated. Any text you write yourself in the Event Website and Form Builder stays as you wrote it, but you can edit both in whatever language you like.

💡 Need a fully separate experience per language? Create a second event, send each group of guests to its own URL, and reconcile the RSVPs on the back end.
