You can use the same drag-and-drop chart maker to assign starting holes for a shotgun start, group golfers by tee time, build foursomes, or set cart assignments. No spreadsheets required.
How it works
The seating chart treats each "table" as a slot you assign guests to. For golf, just think of each table as a starting hole, a tee time, or a cart. Set the number of tables to match the number of holes (or tee times) you need to fill, and you're ready to assign.
Create your chart
Go to the Seating section in the left navigation menu of your event.
Name your chart (for example, "Starting Hole Assignments") and set the number of tables and seats. Set the number of tables to your number of holes or tee times, and the seats per table to your group size.
Rename your tables
So the chart speaks your golfers' language, rename each table to its hole number (or tee time, or cart). To rename a table:
Click the three-dot menu next to the table name.
Click Edit Table.
In the Table Name field, enter the name you want, such as "Hole 1." You can also adjust the Number of Seats, add a Description, or set a Table Color here.
Close the panel to save. Repeat for each table.
Once renamed, the table headers and check-in displays will read "Hole 1," "Hole 2," and so on, so golfers and check-in staff see exactly where to go.
Assign groups and individuals
Your registration list shows who's signed up, and you can filter it to assign quickly:
Filter by group registrations to keep foursomes together. Groups appear together in your list, so you can assign all four members of a group to the same starting hole in one motion.
Filter by individual registrations to place solo golfers. Drop them onto holes one by one, or assign them at random to fill out groups.
Search for any guest by name to seat them directly without scrolling.
Share the assignments
Once your chart is set, get the assignments to your golfers and your check-in team:
Export the assignments to keep or print a copy.
Email golfers their starting hole or tee time in advance using merge tags, so they know exactly where to begin.
Display at check-in so your check-in staff can direct each golfer to the correct hole or tee when they arrive.
Other golf formats
The same chart works for more than shotgun starts:
Tee-time starts: Label each table as a tee time and assign groups to staggered start times.
Foursome / team building: Use the chart to organize golfers into groups.
Cart assignments: Assign golfers to carts using the same drag-and-drop steps.
