Edit your event calendar invitations

Learn how to edit the date, time, location, and other details shown on your event's calendar invitations.

Your calendar invitation pulls its details from your event settings. Where you edit those details depends on whether your event has a single date or multiple dates/sessions.

Edit invitation details for a single-date event

By default, your calendar invitation reflects your event's date, time, and location. To edit these or add invitation-specific details:

  1. In your event's left navigation menu, select Event Settings, then Event Details.

  2. Update the Event Name, RSVPify Event URL, start/end Date and Time, and Event's Timezone as needed.

  3. Scroll to Event Location to set the address (In-person, Virtual, or Hybrid) shown on the invitation.

  4. Scroll to Calendar Invites Global Settings to add a Description, Event Organizer name, and Organizer's Email Address.

  5. Select Save to apply your changes.

Edit invitation details for multi-date or multi-session events

If you're hosting an event with multiple dates or sessions, the settings above won't apply. Instead, edit calendar invitations directly from your event's form builder.

  1. In the form builder, open the settings of your primary RSVP or ticketing block.

  2. Select the ticket tier you want to update, then scroll to Include Calendar Invitation, located just below the email requirement setting.

  3. Update the calendar invitation with your event or session details.

Details you'll need to update:

  • Start Date is the date (and time) your event or session starts.

  • End Date is when your event or session ends. This field is optional — leave it blank and your event will last the whole day.

  • Timezone is your event's timezone.

  • Location is the address where your event will take place.

  • Description is optional — use it to add details about your calendar invitation.

  • Event Organizer is your name or the name of the person/company listed as the official organizer.

  • Organizer's Email Address is your work email, or the email of the official organizer.

After making these changes, save and republish your event.
