How do I export my data to a spreadsheet when using Safari?

Safari opens .csv spreadsheet exports in-browser. Here's how to open your spreadsheet export in your preferred spreadsheet software.

Updated over a week ago

RSVPify data exports are provided in a standard .csv spreadsheet file. Unlike other leading web browsers, Safari opens .csv files directly in the browser (which can look like a jumbled mess!) rather than downloading them to a .csv file on your machine.

Here's how to get your spreadsheet in a readable format...

Option 1: Use another web browser

Login and download your data export from another web browser like Chrome or Firefox.

Option 2: Save your export from Safari to your hard drive

  1. In RSVPify, export to spreadsheet (you'll see the raw data file within your browser window)

  2. Save the raw data file to your machine by COMMAND + S

  3. Open the speadsheet file in your preferred spreadsheet software, or upload it to a free spreadsheet program like Google Sheets
