This guide explains the fee structure, what to expect from credit card processing, and how payouts work.
Fee overview
There's no setup fee to start selling tickets on RSVPify, and no paid plan upgrade is required for ticketed events. RSVPify charges a low per-ticket fee plus standard credit card processing fees.
$0 setup fee
Free upgrade to RSVPify Professional for any ticketed event, with unlimited tickets sold
Low per-ticket service fee
Option to pass service costs to guests
Competitive credit card processing fees
RSVPify only earns revenue when tickets are sold.
Free Professional plan upgrade
Any event that sells tickets or collects payments automatically receives a free upgrade to RSVPify Professional, including all premium features (valued at $409/month).
RSVPify service fees
RSVPify charges 1.95% + $0.90 USD per ticket or registrant. These fees support platform operations and customer service.
Credit card processing fees
Credit card processing fees apply any time payments are accepted online. They're charged by the payment processor and card networks, and are standard across all online payment platforms.
RSVPify partners with Stripe to process payments. Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 USD per transaction. Rates may vary by country.
Passing fees to attendees
You can pass some or all fees to guests at checkout, or set ticket prices to absorb or offset these costs.
When funds are received
With RSVPify and Stripe, funds are transferred automatically to your bank account, in most cases every business day.
š” Note: Many online ticketing providers withhold funds until after the event. RSVPify and Stripe don't.
Accepting offline payments
If 20% or more of your expected registrants will pay offline (for example, by check, cash, or pledge) or receive complimentary tickets (via coupon or free ticket option), a paid subscription is required.
To choose the right plan, estimate the number of offline or complimentary registrations, then match that number to the registration cap for each plan. For example, if you expect fewer than 150 such registrations, the Starter Plan (maximum 150 registrations) is the right choice.
