This support article applies to RSVPify 2.0 only.
We welcome the world (and all of the languages in it) with open arms!
Currently, RSVPify's RSVP form is available in the following pre-translated languages:
We'll soon be adding new languages. In the meantime, if your desired language is not in the above list, you can change English defaults to any language you'd like.
To switch the language of your RSVP form, do the following:
- Open your event.
- Click Setup.
- In the left navigation, click Advanced Settings.
- Click Language.
- Select the language of your choice. You can then make any customizations to the verbiage that you desire.
Displaying the RSVP Form in Two Languages:
While RSVPify does not currently enable hosts to dynamically display their form in the language of their guests (by tagging them), you can display your form in two languages by customizing the fields in the Language section of the application. For example, you can customize all of the fields so that both English in Spanish are listed (e.g. "Last Name / Apellido").
IF displaying your event in different languages is a requirement, you would need to have two events and direct your guests who speak one language to one URL and your guests speaking another language to a different URL and reconcile the RSVPs on the backend.
Important Note: Some text areas, including the 'Welcome message' that your guests see first, are customizable in other sections of the Setup tab.
