About Badge Printing

We’re excited to announce that badge printing is now available in beta! This feature streamlines the check-in process and enhances event organization by allowing you to create and print custom guest badges. Badges can be printed automatically upon check in via our desktop app, or, you can export a PDF to print badges ahead of the event.

Key Features

  1. Badge Template Builder

    • Design your badges and easily add guest details using merge fields.

  2. Automatic Badge Printing

    • Badges can print automatically when guests are checked in via the desktop app.

  3. Exportable Badge PDFs

    • Export badges as a PDF for offline printing or backup purposes.

    • Available from both the browser and desktop app.

Limitations

  • Automatic badge printing is not supported on:

    • Device browsers

    • iOS and Android check-in apps

For these platforms, you can still access and export badge PDFs for manual printing.

Badges are currently available in one size: 82mm x 62mm.

Overview: How to get started

  1. Create Your Badge Template:
Navigate to the badge printing settings to design and customize your template using merge fields.

  2. Export and Print:
If using unsupported devices or you prefer to create your badges up front, export the badge PDFs for manual printing before the event.

  3. Set Up Badge Printing:
To print badges while checking guests in, ensure you have access to the desktop app downloaded and connected your printer.

Once you're done editing, click "create new template" to save.

Option 1: Export and Print

Once you've built your template, you can bulk export a printable PDF of a badge for each of your event's attendees. To do this, scroll down to "export badges" and click "generate PDF".
